Biography:

Heis a professor and a doctoral supervisor of Hefei University ofTechnology, majoring in functional film and fibers, agriculturalproduct processing and storage, and nanocomposites, and focusing onthe surface and interface behavior as well as structure-activityrelationship. He has acquired some important achievements on foodactive packaging films, functional film and fibers, and biomaterials.He is the leader of three National Natural Science Foundation ofChina, one Ministry of Science and Technology Innovation Fund forsmall and medium-sized enterprises, one Major Science and technologyproject in Anhui Province, and so on. He is awarded the third Prizeof Scientific and technological progress of Anhui Province two timesand Anhui Provincial Special Award for Teaching Achievement one timeas well as publishes one monograph. He has published more than onehundred research papers in some prestigious journals such asCarbonhyd. Polym., Food Hydrocolloid., J. Membr. Sci., and J. Agric.Food Chem., et al. and obtained more than ten invention patents. Heis also in the editorial board of Foods.


ResearchInterests:

Hisresearch interests include functional film and fibers, agriculturalproduct processing and storage, pharmaceutical and biomaterial-basedpolymer materials, nanocomposites, as well as metal surface treatmentand modification.
